The sudden stopping of play by Satyajit Das is quite surprising. Reports of his defaulting games suddenly began coming in. We were aware that he is in Europe and was making his moves from abroad. On attempting to message and phone him, he failed to respond. This is surprising, as could have politely mentioned that he is unable to continue instead of blocking our calls.
