International Matters

ICCF CONGRESS

The 2021 meeting of the ICCF Congress will take place virtually online on 21st August 2021 at 12:00 UTC (13:00 Server/UK time, 14:00 Central European Time, 17:30 India).

Who can attend?

Only National Delegates and members of the ICCF Executive Board and Management Committee can attend the Zoom meeting (https://zoom.us/j/93788386866) and participate in the discussions. The meeting room will open approximately 45 minutes before the scheduled start time to allow participants to resolve any technical issues.

Who can watch?

The meeting will be streamed live on YouTube to allow non-participants to see the proceedings in real-time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxX2UlGYS3o

How Will Voting Take Place

No voting will take place during the virtual meeting. Online voting on all proposals will remain open for national delegates from 15th-28th August 2021.

Can I add an item to the Agenda?

The agenda will be limited to discussion on proposals, which are listed here.

What About Medals and Certificates?

Medals and certificates will not be awarded at the virtual meeting, these will be distributed by post.

Philippines and Aruba (Kingdom of Netherlands) have applied for ICCF membership.

The Direct Entry Program has now received over 28,000 eligible entries. The program has received an average of about 330 entries per month.

Unfortunately, there are occasions when the Direct Entry Office has to reject entries, and this can occur for a variety of reasons. We remind those players of their need to be qualified to enter the event of their choice. The qualification criteria for the various events appear on the webserver. It would save the players' disappointment and the Direct Entry Office a lot of work if the number of rejections could be drastically reduced.

Indian players are participating in four norms tournaments.

In the Friendly Match Germany - India 2020, India has maintained the lead by 45.5-41.5. One of the games from this match is given below:

In the friendly match with Indonesia, India is still trailing by a big 15.5-32.5 margin An interesting game from this match is given below:
